Glary Quick Search 是一款免費的檔案及資料夾快速搜尋工具，介面親和直覺、簡單易用，而且佔用系統資源非常低。它提供快速且即時的關鍵字搜尋功能，只要在程式視窗最上方的搜尋框輸入關鍵字，程式就會快速搜尋硬碟中的所有檔案和資料夾，並將搜尋結果顯示在下方的區塊中，因此無論是搜尋速度或功能都優於系統內建的搜尋機制。
這款輕巧的免費軟體安裝並啟動後會立即快速地為電腦中的檔案及資料夾建立索引以便日後搜尋之用。為了讓使用者更快速、更容易找到檔案或資料夾，程式還將索引分為七大類，分別為「捷徑」、「文件」、「音樂」、「圖片」、「程式語言」、「影片」和「Compression (壓縮檔)。不過，若您有常用的檔案類型，但並不屬於這七個索引類別，程式亦允許自行建立索引類別，請從程式標題列右邊的「≡」→「選項」→「類別」進行新增。此外，對於每一搜尋結果，使用者可利用匯出功能將其匯出為清單，方便日後參照檔案和資料夾的路徑或位置。

The program is a fast search tool for locating files using a keyword and also offers a search filter to narrow down the search results.
When you type any file name, subject or keywords into the search box, the results screen will display all related files based on that information in less than a second. At the same time, it will list a number of similar files you do not need.
