The program is the leading open source file encryption software for Windows. It integrates seamlessly with Windows to compress, encrypt, decrypt, store, send and work with individual files.
Your newly encrypted files will have a “.axx” extension added to their names (which by default is hidden, but can be displayed if the option to display known extensions in Windows is enabled), and are shown with a new icon.
