Spotify 是全世界最大的線上音樂串流服務，起源於瑞典，根據維基百科，它截至 2012 年就已擁有逾兩千萬名用戶。尤有甚者，這款軟體已進軍台灣市場並推出台灣中文版同名軟體，現在只要註冊免費會員，下載這款軟體，即可在電腦上免費收聽上千萬首歌曲。

這款軟體目前提供網頁播放、Windows, Mac, iOS, Android 等平台的播放器軟體。它在台灣將提供兩種方案，一種是有廣告的免費版、一種是支援更完整功能的付費 Premium 版 (每月費用台幣 149 元)。

另外，這款軟體還提供初次註冊用戶 30 天免費使用 Premium 完整版，不過要注意的是，申請 30 天試用時需要輸入您的信用卡，而 30 天後您必須「自己手動取消」完整版，否則它就會開始從您的信用卡自動扣款了。再者，啟動時，使用者可以用在其網站註冊的帳戶或自己的 Facebook 帳戶登入。
