SUMo (Software Update Monitor) 是一款免費的軟體更新檢查工具，會自動監測電腦中所安裝的軟體是否有新的版本，讓您的軟體保持在最新、最安全的狀態。尤有甚者，它亦可讓免安裝程式將主程式 (*.exe) 手動加入檢查清單。

一般軟體內建的自動更新檢查功能，都是在您啟動程式後才告知有新版本，但 SUMo 會在您還未啟動程式之前就先通知各該軟體是否有新的版本。

這款軟體的主要特色如下：

• 自動偵測已安裝的軟體。
