CintaNotes 是一款小巧、簡易又方便的純文字筆記本，可讓您快速保存自其他文件或網站所蒐集的資訊，包括個人突然想到的點子和創意、新聞報導摘要、部落格文章、名人語錄、研究資料、奇聞異事、維基百科文章等等。程式會自動備份。
由於這款軟體是在背景中運作 (通常是常駐在系統工具列)，所以您只要把要儲存的文字 Mark 起來，然後按 Ctrl+F12，它就會將這些文字儲存為新筆記並跳出主視窗讓您做編輯、如加上備註或標籤。當然了，Ctrl+F12 是預設的熱鍵，您可從程式的「選項」→ 「熱鍵」去配置其他熱鍵組合。按下 Esc 鍵可將程式最小化，而按下 Insert 鍵則可新增筆記。此外，您可透過關鍵字或標籤快速搜尋內容。
文字旁邊的一些欄位也會自動填滿 － 來源程式視窗的標題會被當作筆記的標題，若是自網頁剪輯文字，那麼該筆記的連結欄位會自動自瀏覽器 (支援 Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, Chrome 和 Safari) 的位址列接收該網頁的網址。
注意：程式啟動後為英文介面，請從 Options → Language 選擇「正體中文 (Chinese Traditional)」，程式即變成繁體中文介面。

CintaNotes is a simple program for basic notes keeping that provides a convenient way to quickly store pieces of information that are collected from other documents or websites.
Provided the software is running in the background (usually it will reside in the system tray), all you need to do is mark the text you want to store and press Ctrl+F12. CintaNotes’ main window pops up, focused on the new note with the text you’ve just selected.
Some fields beside text are also filled automatically – the title of the source application window is taken as note’s title, and if you clip text from a web page, the note’s Link field automatically receives the URL of the page from the address bar of your browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, Chrome and Safari are supported).
At this moment you might want to edit the new note to add remarks to it or tag it. Pressing Esc minimizes the software and you can continue reading where you left off.
And of course the Ctrl+F12 shortcut is just the default, you can change it to some other key combination using the program’s Options / Hot Keys menu.
