某些軟體的安裝，會修改系統登錄檔；在瀏覽網頁時，有可能一不小心就安裝了某些軟體甚至首頁被綁架。若登錄檔的啟動項目被修改，可能會導致電腦系統開機速度變慢，而若瀏覽網頁時不小心首頁被綁架，甚至被植入惡意程式，這些都會影響到電腦系統啟動速度或電腦的安全。這款系統超級看門狗能「嗅出」蠕蟲、廣告軟體、間諜軟體、特洛伊木馬及其他可能會攻擊電腦的惡意程式。

這款軟體最大目的就是監控及防堵某些程式針對系統登錄檔、服務、啟動過程等等的修改，並會顯示提醒視窗，讓您決定是否允許這些程式對電腦系統做修改。由於它僅針對電腦系統幾個特定重要部份做監控，因此不會佔用太多的系統資源。
